Nitrox vs Air

Is the green-and-yellow band worth it for you?

Nitrox trades a lower nitrogen load for an oxygen depth ceiling (MOD) you must respect. On repetitive 15–25 m days — liveaboards, multi-dive trips — the longer no-stop times and shorter surface intervals are the whole point. On deep-for-the-cert single dives or shallow shore putters, it buys little. Training and analyzing every fill are non-negotiable.

▚ TRAINING NOTEDive within your training and certification. This is gear research, not dive instruction, and not a substitute for training from a certified instructor.
